Job of the day: inventory taker

RGIS is hiring inventory takers on Long Island.

Inventory takers are required to physically count merchandise for various retailers and enter information into RGIS equipment to provide an accurate count of stock levels. The type of inventory to be counted varies depending on the location that is being audited, which may include sales floors, warehouses, and stock rooms. Items may be located on the floor, tables, or shelves at various heights. Inventories take approximately 4-6 hours to complete; however, it may take longer depending on the size of the store and the level of inventory to be counted.
