A former agent with the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission was arrested Wednesday and charged with improper photography or visual recording.
Fort Worth police say 50-year-old Martin Herrmann had just been dismissed from his job at the state agency in November.
Neither the TABC nor Fort Worth police will say exactly what Herrmann was accused of photographing.
The Fort Worth Police jail blotter says Herrmann was taken into custody about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The TABC tells FOX 4it found out last month that Herrmann was the focus of a criminal case in Fort Worth, so it started its own investigation.
Several days after that investigation was launched, Herrmann was fired for failing to cooperate.
According to his LinkedIn page, Herrmann also previously worked with the Texas Department of Public Safety in Amarillo and the Carson County Sheriff's office near Amarillo.
