DALLAS -
Dallas police are trying to solve a mysterious shooting death that happened late Thursday night in Oak Cliff.
About 10:45 p.m., officers went to the Brackins Village Apartments in the 100 block of Monaghan Court, near the Oak Cliff Cemetery.
They found a man just inside the door with multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators at the scene say it appears someone knocked on the door, then when the victim opened it, the suspect shot him through the screen door.
Police identified the victim as 58-year-old Lorenzo Wilson. A search for a suspect continues.
