NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A series of manhole explosions caused several cars to catch fire in SoHo Saturday afternoon.

The explosions began around 2:00 p.m. near 92 Prince Street at the intersection with Mercer Street. Fire officials say the vehicles that were ablaze might have been over the manholes.

No one was injured from the explosions and Con Edison was at the scene investigating the incident.
