Man shoots woman, kills self

Police in Aubrey, northwest of Denton, are investigating what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide.

This happened just before midnight at a home near the intersection of Oakcrest and Catskill.

Authorities say the gunman shot a woman and then killed himself.

Paramedics took the woman to the hospital.

Her condition is not known at this time.

The relationship between the two is not clear and neither is the motive.

There was another person inside the home at the time of the shootings - that person was not hurt.
