DALLAS -
A longtime AM radio station and mainstay of the North Texas African-American community is no longer on the air.
Since 1970, Soul 730 KKDA has entertained and informed the community with R&B and talk radio.
But recently owner Hymen Childs sold it for $1.9 million. The station is now on the air with Korean language programming.
Sister station K104 FM was not sold and will keep its current format.
