Gwinnett County police say two men wanted in connection with a robbery of a Wells Fargo bank last month have been arrested.
They say three men entered the Wells Fargo Bank on Lawrenceville Highway during the morning of December 28. Employees told police two men wearing masks and armed with guns forced tellers to fill a bag with money, and then took off with over $12,000 in cash and checks in a Pontiac Grand Prix.
Police say Thomas Birdsong turned himself following coverage the case received in the media. Marcus Rutledge was arrested on Tuesday without incident. They did not say where Rutledge was arrested.
A third man, Jamar Terrell, was arrested on the day of the robbery after police tracked down the Grand Prix.
Police say the three men have been charged with armed robbery are being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
