DALLAS -
Dallas firefighters battled a five-alarm fire at an apartment complex just north of Bachman Lake Thursday morning.
The fire at the Courtney Place Apartments at 3210 Chapel Creek Drive broke out around 7 a.m. The complex is off Webb Chapel Road between Lombardy Lane and Walnut Hill.
The large response was due to the size of the building. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
A total of 24 units were completely destroyed and several others were left without power. The American Red Cross expects to help at least 70 people who were displaced.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
