NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A New Jersey man has been accused of bringing an unconscious woman to his home from New York City and sexually assaulting her, authorities said.

Cyrus Fakroddin, 51, encountered the 19-year-old woman in Manhattan in the early hours of November 17, 2012, according to the Union County, N.J., Prosecutor's Office. The woman had been out clubbing with friends and was "physically and mentally incapacitated," according to First Assistant Prosecutor Albert Cernadas Jr.

Fakroddin then drove her in his van to his home to Summit, N.J., where he sexually assaulted her, authorities said.

A few hours later, she woke up and had no memory of meeting Fakroddin or going home with him, authorities said. She called a friend and went back to Manhattan, where she sought out medical attention.

Detectives with the Summit Police Department and Prosecutor's Office investigated, took statements, and gathered physical evidence, authorities said. Then on January 9, 2013, police arrested Fakroddin at his home.

Authorities charged him with first-degree aggravated sexual assault against a person who was physically helpless.

Fakroddin was being held in the Union County Jail on $250,000 bail, authorities said.
