FARMERS BRANCH, Texas -
Two men were rushed to the hospital shortly early Friday after their car crashed near the Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch.
A police officer from Addison says shortly after midnight, he saw the men's car speed up to beat a red light. Instead, the driver lost control and flipped the car on southbound Marsh Lane at Brookhaven Club Drive.
The vehicle ended up wedged behind a tree on its side, with a crushed roof and mangled front end.
Both men were rushed to Parkland Hospital in serious condition, but are expected to survive.
