Some areas of dense patchy fog to start this morning with light winds and temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Showers and maybe of rumble of thunder or two will linger into the afternoon as temperatures steadily drop as a cold front pushes though from northwest to the southeast.
The front should make it through the Metroplex by late afternoon into early evening, dropping temperatures into the upper 40s by 10 p.m. tonight.
There will be a chance for some strong to severe storms, but only areas north and east of Tyler.
