Fundraiser held for mom whose 4 relatives were killed in fire

Friends, even strangers, helped raise money for a woman who lost her two children, mother and nephew in a fire.

Friends held a BBQ lunch fundraiser Saturday at Club Chrome in Fort Worth.

Yessenia Garces needs to come up with tens of thousands of dollars to pay for funeral and burial services for family members killed in a house fire in Haltom City on Thursday.

Among the dead, Garces' two children who were 5 and 3 years old.

"No mother should have to bury their babies, ever but unfortunately god picked me so I have to bury my babies my mom and my baby nephew," said Garces.Another fundraiser is planned for Garces next Saturday at Club Chrome in Fort Worth.
