A man shot himself inside the Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville Monday afternoon.

Police said the man had been talking with a woman he knew inside the mall and they began fighting.

Mall security was called and as the man was being escorted out of the building he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head, police said.

No one else was hurt.

The 25-year-old man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police have not released his name.
