Police say a woman was shot in the stomach and a man was shot in the head on Monday around 7:30 p.m. near  25th Avenue and Ocotillo Road -- not far from Interstate 17.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Steve Martos says, "The suspect in this case is known to both victims. It is believed this incident precipitated with argument which occurred earlier in the day between the victims and the suspect."

Authorities say the suspect currently wanted by police is 24-year-old Jarvis Crush.

"Jarvis is wanted for 1st degree murder and attempted 1st degree murder.  During the course of this investigation, detectives learned the argument between the victims and this suspect stemmed from a $15 debt," said Martos.

Both victims were hospitalized. The female sustained a non-life threatening injury. Police say the male, identified as 25-year-old Anthony DeMartini, died from the injuries he sustained in this crime.
