DALLAS -
A 68-year-old man is behind bars after police say he stabbed another man to death at a Dallas retirement home.
Just before midnight on Monday, police responded to the Juliette Fowler Apartments in east Dallas. They say Joe Silva was arguing with another resident, 73-year-old Harold Griesenbeck, in the lobby of the building.
According to a police report, Silva pulled a knife and stabbed Griesenbeck. The victim was taken to Baylor Hospital, where he later died.
Silva is being held on a $500,000 bond for murder and parole violation. A background check shows he has been arrested several times in Dallas County.
