Super Bowl tickets available for a hefty price

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Atlanta is one win away from getting back to the Super Bowl. If the Falcons make it, it won't be impossible for fans to get tickets to the big game, but it will take deep pockets.

Season ticket holders will go into a lottery to get a Super Bowl should the Falcons beat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Fans can guarantee themselves a ticket by going to a broker, but they should expect to pay a big price.

"Pricewise, at the moment, you should be allowing at least $2,000 per ticket," said Ian Cannell of Empire Tickets. "Now that price can fluctuate up or down depending on supply and demand."

It's never too early to place your order. Cannell said that his company has already taken orders for the game, which will be played in New Orleans.

"The first thing you need to do is decide how many tickets you need, how much you want to spend, what sort of ticket location you want. Give us a call, or visit our website empire tickets.com," said Cannell. "We have a certain amount of tickets that we feel comfortable that we know that we're going to get from our regular sources that supply us with tickets."

Be aware that those prices don't include accommodations. Some ticket brokers offer packages that include rooms, but many times those reservations require a four-night minimum stay.
