Neighbors of Carroll High School lost a fight over lights at sports fields.

The city council overruled a decision by the zoning board and will let the lights go up around the school's baseball and softball fields.

Homeowners fear noise and large crowds during nighttime games. The school plans to install landscaping that will block out some of the sound.
