Fire damaged a home in east Cobb County on Friday. SKYFOX 5 showed fire coming out of the roof of the home on Clubland Drive in Marietta around 3:30 p.m.
Residents of the home called 911 to report smoke in their attic. A short time later, the blaze raced through their home.
There were no injuries.
Clubland Road was closed as officials investigated the fire.
Firefighters urged residents to check their smoke detectors to make sure they were operating properly.

Sudden rains caused flash flooding in parts of the metro Atlanta area on Monday. The Georgia Department of Transportation said that northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at Forest Parkway were closed after the roadway was flooded.
