Church hosts gun buy-back, counter-rally planned

A Dallas church is hosting a gun buy-back event Saturday.

The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas is asking gun-owners to bring their weapons to The Stewpot located in downtown Dallas.

People who bring in handguns, rifles and shotguns will get 50 dollars per firearm.

Semi-automatic assault-style rifles that are brought in will fetch owners 200 dollars each.

The event runs from 10AM until 2PM.

A pro-gun rights rally is scheduled to be held across the street from the buy-back event.
