What a beautiful day across North Texas. Lots of sunshine across the region as afternoon high temperatures climbed into the mid to upper 60s. Readings were around 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Another great day is expected on Sunday, before a cold front moves in dropping temperatures for the beginning of the work week. There's very little moisture to work with, so no precipitation is expected with these frontal systems. The next chance for rain will arrive towards the end of next week as another cold front moves through. Not bad at all considering it is the middle of January.
