FORT WORTH, Texas -
A former Arlington Heights High School teacher is in jail charged with indecency with a child and fondling.
Chad Brandon Hawkins, 34, was arrested after a joint investigation involving Westworth Village police, Euless police and the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.
According to affidavits, officers found him in a steamy parked car with a female student. They were outside a fitness club in Westworth Village, on the northwest side of Fort Worth.
Investigators also found Facebook messages between the two indicating a relationship.
The Fort Worth Independent School District said Hawkins resigned after the investigation began.
