PLANO, Texas (AP) - A 28-year-old suburban Dallas man is charged with capital murder in the death of a man found inside his home two months ago.
Plano police said Wednesday they have charged Christopher James Holder in the death of 50-year-old Billy Joe Tanner. Tanner was found inside his home Nov. 11, killed by multiple blunt and sharp force injuries.
Police did not immediately say why they suspected Holder, an Irving resident.
Holder is being held in the Collin County jail on $1 million bond. He's also being detained on a parole violation, according to online records.
His listed attorney, Steven Miears, said he had not yet spoken to Holder.
