Man rushed to hospital after attempted carjacking

DALLAS -

Dallas police are looking for two armed men behind a failed carjacking. They sent a man to the hospital and left his car riddled with bullet holes.

The crime took place in the 2700 block of Wheatland Rd. just after midnight on Thursday morning. The victim was able to get away and escaped by driving through the gates of an apartment complex. He was shot in the back as he drove off.

He was rushed to the hospital and is expected to recover.
