Newly released documents detail the graphic confession an Aledo boy allegedly wrote after killing his mother and sister.
Jacob Evans, 17, submitted a written statement on the same day of the killings in October 2012. In it he said he started planning to kill his entire family after watching a horror movie at his Parker County home.
"I was amazed at how at ease the boy was during the murders and how little remorse he had afterward. I was thinking to myself it would be the same for me," he wrote.
Evans said he originally planned to use a knife then changed his mind because he didn't want his family to feel any pain.
He described in chilling detail how he lured his sister out of her room, shot her and then shot his mother in another part of the home. He realized his sister was still alive so he shot both of them again.
Evans claimed he was in shock when he called 911.
He finished the statement saying, "I'm done with killing. It's the most dreadful and terrifying thing I will ever experience. And what happened [that] night will haunt me forever."
The teen is charged with capital murder. On Wednesday a judge set his bond at $750,000.
