DALLAS -
Dallas police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they say beat another man to death at an east Dallas bar early Saturday morning.
Federico Prado, 23, faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of the victim. Police haven't released the victim's name.
Police spokesman Sgt. Warren Mitchell says officers answered a disturbance call inside a bar in the 5400 block of East Grand Avenue and found a man unconscious. Witnesses told police the man was attacked by several suspects who hit him with a chair, pool stick and kicked and stomped his head.
Mitchell says the victim was pronounced dead at Baylor hospital.
A second person was also assaulted in the incident but police say his injuries were not as severe.
