Mostly cloudy skies occupied North Texas today as afternoon temperatures stayed slightly below normal for this time of year. With light winds, and a warm front moving through later tonight, there could be more fog by early Sunday morning. Temperatures will rapidly be rising into the 70s with gusty south winds by afternoon. The long range forecast suggest we might see some thunderstorm activity by Tuesday afternoon of next week. It's a little too early to determine if any of the storms could be severe here, but an early look at the long range forecast suggest that the best chances may be in East Texas. Afternoon high temperatures will also be cooling down quite a bit towards the end of next week. Stay tuned.
