A Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD high school was evacuated Monday morning after administrators learned of a bomb threat.
About 11:20 a.m., students at R.L. Turner High School were led back into the building after spending at least 45 minutes standing at a church across the street.
School administrators said all students were safe and accounted for.
For a brief time, five other nearby schools were briefly placed on lockdown: Central Elementary, Carrollton Elementary, McLaughlin Elementary, Strickland Intermediate and Perry Middle School.
By 11:10 a.m., that lockdown was lifted at the surrounding schools.
