4 charged after hospital protest at U of C Medical Center

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
A group of South Side hospital protesters took up "residence" at a second location Sunday night.
Four people protesting the University of Chicago's Medical Center were arrested, three were charged with trespassing and one also received a resisting arrest charge. The fourth person, a minor, was released.
The lack of a trauma center on the city's south side motivated the protest at Hyde Park Hospital.
Protesters said they won't leave the hospital alone until officials agree to extend the age limit for patients at its children's trauma center.
There's no trauma care for anyone over the age of 16 on the South Side, so they want the age raised to 21.
