More than ninety firefighters needed for large building fire

Posted: Updated:
DALLAS -

A large fire broke out at a vacant tire shop early Tuesday morning. Firefighters were called out to the building in the 9000 block of Overlake Dr. around 12:30 a.m.

When the first responders arrived they could already see smoke coming from the top of the building. Once they found the origin of the fire they were able to begin putting it out.

Wind gusts of more than 25 M.P.H. made the attack difficult and firefighters were afraid of flames spreading to nearby businesses and homes.

There were no injuries. Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the fire.
