Police chase knocks out neighborhood's electrical power

Posted: Updated:

Three men wanted in a forgery case led police on a chase Monday night. They were first spotted inside a white Cadillac Escalade by Grand Prairie police.

The suspects sped off and police lost sight of them in Duncanville. A short time later, they were spotted in Oak Cliff. As the driver tried turning onto a side street in the 2200 block of Vernon Ave. he lost control and slammed into a utility pole. Police were then able to arrest the men.

The accident knocked out power to the area for more than an hour. Nobody was injured.
