Gwinnett Co. Fire battalion chief hurt in hit-and-run crash

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -
A Gwinnett County Fire battalion chief was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday.
Authorities said that a vehicle crashed into the Gwinnett Fire Department's Command SUV at Oakbrook Parkway at Center Way in Norcross. The driver of that vehicle then fled on foot, officials said.
Two passengers in the car were treated at the scene.
The battalion chief was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
