Police are investigating the death of billionaire T. Boone Pickens' 21-year-old grandson.
Thomas Boone Pickens IV, who went by Ty, was rushed to a Fort Worth hospital and pronounced dead Tuesday morning. Officers had already been dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Rogers Road, after getting a dead person report.
Police have not said how they think he died. The Tarrant County medical examiner is working to determine a cause of death.
Pickens was a junior at Texas Christian University. The university sent an email to students and staff about his death.
