A home invasion led to a fire in Gwinnett County on Thursday, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to a 911 call from a homeowner who said he was the victim of a home invasion and that the people who did it also set his house on.
The home on Peace Rose Place in Loganville was gutted by fire.
"We were told that there were people that made their way into the home, and they set fire. Now since it's an active investigation, we can't really speak on it," said Lt. Colin Rhoden of the Gwinnett County Fire Department.
Firefighters said that the homeowner wasn't injured. They are now investigating both the arson and the home invasion that started it all.
