Some horseplay quickly turned into a rescue effort Thursday night.

Crews spent hours trying to rescue a man stuck inside a vault at the insurance office in the 1600 block of Randol Mill Road in Arlington.

Firefighters say two men thought it would be funny to lock one of them inside the vault. Once inside, the man could not get out.

An air hole was made in the wall so he could breath as crews worked to free him.
