Karen Coates, a 58-year-old woman, was found dead next to her car. Police say was ejected by the impact and died at the scene.
The accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. at the Fireside Lodge center at 4800 White Settlement Road, near Castleberry High School.
According to Officer Daniel Segura with the Fort Worth Police Department, the car was headed west on White Settlement road when it crashed through a chain-link fence, struck a utility pole, and went airborne before striking the rock-facade wall in front of the building.
Segura said the department is investigating the wreck as a single-car accident. He did not speculate on how fast the car was traveling when it crashed.
