A weak cold front has turned stationary across North Texas, and this could be the focus for areas of dense fog late tonight and into the morning hours on Tuesday. The fog should lift by morning, giving us mostly cloudy skies through the rest of the day. However, temperatures will remain quite warm with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 60s. These temperatures remain about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Another system may give us a few showers by late Wednesday night and into Thursday. The long range forecast suggest that heavier rain may come around by the weekend. Once again, there are no signs of any arctic air masses moving in our direction. Not bad for the first week of February.
