ATLANTA -

Authorities in Newton County have issued a Mattie's Call for a 19-year-old man who has not been seen since February 3. They say Taurus Bernard Mitchell was last seen at his Avonlea Drive home in Covington at around midnight.

According to authorities Mitchell has the mindset of a 9 or 10-year-old child. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, a neon green sweater, and black ankle length socks.

Police describe Mitchell as a black male, and stands six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has short black hair, but his left eye is brown and his right eye is blue. He wears a hearing aid in his left ear.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Newton County Sheriff's Office at 678-625-1421.
