Home burglaries are up in one gated Arlington community and it's making homeowners uneasy.
Smash-and-grabs are prevalent in a quiet north Arlington neighborhood.
"I found some of our stuff disheveled and looked around and found our PS3 missing. Things like that. I started looking around the house and random things were missing and of course we walked in and found a planter thrown through the windows. The window was smashed in," said Anthony Vasiliadis.
Arlington Police are targeting one of possibly many suspects who they think broke into at least three homes near the 8900 block of Meadowbrook.
Neighbors have hoisted security cameras which have helped in the investigation.
The suspect in one of the videos walked up to the front gate and out of frame. He apparently boosted himself over the gate and broke into the home.
Teri Willoughby says she and other residents have seen strangers walking behind their homes and down their street several times before.
Arlington Police say crime has increased in the area, something residents in the gated community never expected.
"So that's very concerning to us and I know it's concerning to the community out there so we're working diligently on locating the suspect or suspects who are committing these burglaries," said Sgt. Christopher Cook with the Arlington Police Dept.
More residents are adding security cameras and alarm systems to their houses hoping to record the suspects in action.
Residents are appreciative of the increased police presence.
The neighborhood also formed a community watch so homeowners are looking out for each other.
