The mysterious resignations of three Plano middle school counselors have parents demanding answers from the district.
Penny Hale, Robin Taylor and Mary White were the counseling department at Haggard Middle School in Plano up until last Friday when they abruptly resigned.
The principal sent a letter to parents announcing their replacements with no explanation for the departures.
The letter states the reasoning was a personnel matter.
Parents don't understand the secrecy.
"They are just innocently doing their jobs and trying to help kids and not in any of my interactions with any of the three of them did I think or see anything derogatory or negative," said concerned Haggard parent Kim Whiting.
"We pay the school taxes, we deserve to know something, if it's a policy issue they didn't agree with, we should at least know about it," said another concerned parent David Hart.
Plano police tells FOX 4 they are not investigating any of the educators.
Parents plan to meet with school administrators Friday.
Plano ISD did not return our calls and requested parents not to talk about this publicly.
