PHOENIX -
An elderly couple was found dead Friday afternoon in what's believed to be a murder-suicide.
Officers were called out to LifeStream Senior Living Community about 3 p.m., located near Cave Creek Road and Rose Garden Lane.
According to Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson, the husband killed his wife and then himself. He had some health issues and apparently called his son to tell him he was going to end it.
Both victims were 87 years old and had been married 66 years. We've learned the wife had Alzheimer's Disease.
Their names have not yet been released.
