
Thousands of homes and businesses lost power early Sunday morning due to severe thunderstorms.
At one point, there were more than 17-thousand customers without electricity, though that number dropped by mid-morning as utility crews made progress.
It is believed slick roads caused several wrecks, including one that left one vehicle on it's side on a highway, though there were no reports of any critical injuries.
Some Fox 4 viewers reported seeing golf-ball sized hail and at least one wind gust was recorded at 60 mph.
