Fort Worth police shot and killed a man, after they say, he tried to run them over with his vehicle.
Police found the suspect's vehicle north of downtown on the 3600 block of north Pecan, which matched the description of a vehicle spotted at an earlier shooting.
When police approached it, they say, the man took off and sped in their direction.
Officers then opened fire.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officers who fired their weapons will be placed on administrative leave, which is customary.
No officers were hurt.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identifies the dead man as Sixto Quezada.
