Heavy showers and thunderstorms fell across North Texas last night producing some fairly heavy rain amounts in some areas. Officially, at DFW Airport, there was .98". This was a record amount for February 10th. Much drier air has now filtered into the area behind a cold front that moved through during the early morning hours. We'll see quite a bit of cloudiness on Monday with more rain possible late Monday evening. Rain could be heavy at times late Monday night into the Tuesday morning time frame. Afternoon high temperatures for the next several days should be in the 50s and 60s, not bad for this time of the year. There are NO indications of any type of wintry weather in the near future.
