Man shot in Uptown neighborhood of Dallas - Dallas News | myFOXdfw.com

A man was rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning after he was shot in the ankle.

The victim was walking down McKinney Avenue with some friends around 1:30 a.m. They were in the 3100 block of the street when they got into an argument with two men sitting in a silver car.

One of the men in the car allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the ankle. The suspects then sped away.

The man with the gunshot wound is expected to recover.
