A mob of kangaroos delayed a professional golf tournament in Australia on Thursday.

It happened at the LPGA Australian Open.

Dozens of kangaroos began running across the course.

Australian golfer Karrie Webb had to wait while the animals cleared the fairway in front of the ninth hole before continuing play.

The tournament is being held at the Royal Canberra Golf Club at Canberra.

Another golfer was bitten by a spider in a pre-qualifying round the day before.  Daniela Holmqvist was not seriously injured in the incident.
