On Monday February 18, the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame will induct a variety of sports stars. Jason talks with MSU basketball star Mateen Cleaves in the video above.

Recently named by the NCAA as one of its top 75 All-Time March Madness players, Mateen Cleaves is one of the most exceptional players ever to come out of Michigan State. Cleaves is the university's only three-time All-American and was a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year for the Spartans. A three-year MSU captain, he led his team to a NCAA Championship title in 2000 and was named the Most Outstanding Player of that year's Final Four. Michigan State retired his #12 jersey and inducted him into its Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011. A Flint, Michigan native, Cleaves will officially be inducted into the state of Michigan's Sports Hall of Fame this February.
During the NBA and college basketball seasons, Mateen Cleaves can be heard weekdays on SiriusXM's Off The Dribble (channel 92) and Inside College Basketball, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. on SiriusXM College Sports Nation (channel 91). On the CBS Sports Network, he provides analysis and commentary weekly about college basketball.

The event will take place at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit at 7:30 p.m. Prior to the ceremony, there will be a VIP reception and 'Heroes of the Hall' reception. The Max. M Fisher Music Center is located at 3711 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.
