BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. -
Seven people were injured in a car crash in Cartersville on Friday, according to police.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 41 near Zena Drive.
Police say that four people were taken to Cartersville Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, one was airlifted to Kennestone Hospital and three were treated on the scene by EMS.
Bartow County Sheriff's Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said that a sheriff's deputy was among those involved the accident, but was not seriously injured.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
