After a chilly morning across North Texas, it turned out to be a great day across the region. Afternoon highs climbed into the mid to upper 50s with light winds. Winds will shift southerly tomorrow as temperatures will respond with the mercury climbing into the 70s. It should be a fantastic day on Sunday. A storm system off the Pacific Coast may give us a few showers on Monday, but it appears the best chances for rain and thunderstorms will probably occur during the Wednesday/Thursday time frame. It's a little early, but some of the storms could become heavy. All the precipitation is expected to be in the liquid variety as there are no signs of any arctic air masses coming down any time soon.
