Designer of Dallas Cowboys logo dies

The man who designed the Dallas Cowboys' blue star logo has died.

Jack Eskridge was one of legendary head coach Tom Landry's first hires in 1959, which was a year before the franchise even played games.

He was team's equipment manager until 1973.

Eskridge passed away last Monday in a Kansas hospital.

He was 89.
