Driver dies after crashing into creek - Dallas News | myFOXdfw.com

A man lost control of his pickup truck and crashed into a creek Tuesday night.

Sheriff's deputies said the elderly driver was speeding on Tripp road when he hit a curve, lost control and went down an embankment. The man was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Emergency crews attempted to pull his car out of the creek with a crane, but the line broke.

A crew returned Wednesday morning to pull the car out of the water.
